Coats for Kids A Higher Purpose Councils can purchase new winter coats at a discount to be distributed to the children in need in their local communities. A featured program, Coats for Kids can count for two credits toward the Columbian Award.

KCCG Option You can make a cash donation to the KCCG Coats for Kids fund. The KCCG board of directors will purchase coats and distribute them through charitable outreach organizations around the State. A donation to KCCG Coats for Kids fund AND submission of Form 10784 will count as one program credit on your Columbian Award Application (Form SP/7). You cannot earn two program credits with a cash donation. Download and complete the form and submit it with your check.
