Toof, born in Columbus, Nebraska, on March 7, 1955, was ordained a Priest in December 1994, The Rev-erend Daniel Toof, served the Archdiocese of Atlanta Parishes, becoming a Knight in August 1992, and WHEREAS: In June 2001, he became the Pastor of St. Annas Catholic Church, a mission church, in Monroe, Georgia, serving as Chaplain, andWHEREAS: In October 2007 he obtained his 4th Degree, and in December 2007 Chartered Knights of Columbus Council #14425 for St. Annas Catholic Church, andWHEREAS: With his future for St. Annas Catholic Church and anticipated growth, he initiated Capital Campaigns to build a new church facility beginning in 2005. With the dedication of the new church in July 2015, becoming Debt Free in 2019, andWHEREAS: In furthering Community Catholic Faith, Father Daniel Toof promoted and participated in the Lenten Ecumen-ical Events, County Right to Life Rallies, Good Friday Passion Walk, Interfaith Ministerial Unity, Faith In Serving Humanity Non-Profit, Night Shelter, Interfaith Bible Studies, Eagle Scout Projects, Christ Renews His Parish Mission, and Blood Drives, as the Pastor and Community Developer during his 22 years at St. Annas, andWHEREAS: In the growth of the church from 250 families to 550, Father Daniel Toof implemented Spiritual Family Programs, Youth Interactivity, School of Religion, Ministries of Coordination and Growth, while Pastor and serving as the Deanery Coordi-nator of Catholic Church Parishes andWHEREAS: As Chaplin promoted the Knights of Columbuss integration of services to the church and community, increasing council membership, winning multiple awards, including the State Knights of the Year Awards, andWHEREAS: Through his leadership, Pastoral Duties, Religious Beliefs, and Notable Actions grew St. Annas Church to the largest church in Walton County, Ga.WHEREAS: In 2022, by the Readers of the Walton Tribune, Father Daniel Toof was named and awarded the Best Pastor or Priest in Walton County, GA. In the same year, 2022, St. Annas Catholic Church was named and awarded the Best Church in Walton County, GA, also by the Readers of the Walton Tribune. RESOLVED: Therefore, St. Annas Knights of Columbus, Council #14425, Monroe, Georgia express its total appreciation, gratitude, dedication, love, and support for Father Daniel Toof for his Leadership, Guidance, and Shepard of Faith in building the Catholic Doctrine of the Holy Mother Church. Furthermore, this recommended resolution is by a unanimous vote of the membership of St. Annas Council #14425, Monroe, Georgia on March 24, 2022, as attested by the signatures below.
