b'FATHER JOSE KOCHUPARAMPILSTATE CHAPLAINApril 26, 2022Dear Brother Knights:It is with an attitude of gratitude and great joy the Knights of Columbus of Georgia and their spouses are gathering this year under the leadership of worthy State Deputy, Sir Knight Jim Clifford for their 120th annual convention and meeting in Jekyll Island, GA from May 13-15, 2022.Blessed Michael McGivney (1852-90), a Catholic priest who had lived in New Haven, CT., is the inspiration behind this worldwide Catholic mens organization. The Knights, their families and the millions who are the beneficiaries of this fraternal organization are grateful to God for the precious gift of the person of Blessed McGivney.Charity, unity, fraternity and patriotism are the guiding principles of this fraternal orga-nization. The amazing life and legacy of this East coast visionary priest spread into the whole world on a fast pace and as a result today there are over two million members of the Knights of Columbus continue the vision and mission of this chosen one of God.In the footsteps of their founder, Blessed McGivney, the Knights of Columbus of the state of Georgia continue their onward journey, befitting to their call as Catholic men, in assisting, supporting, encouraging and practicing what all the Catholic Church profess-es, proclaims, stands for and teaches.
