Graziano, born in New York State, February 6, 1923, honored his country and himself with Courageous participation in the Third Wave at Omaha Beach 1944 and is the last Ally witness of the signing of the surrender by German generals to General Eisenhower at the Little Red School House in Reims, France, 1945 and WHEREAS: Louis C. Graziano received from France, the French Legion of Honor Medal, Frances highest civilian award in 2021 andWHEREAS: Louis C. Graziano was instrumental in the fundraising and construction of the first Catholic Church in Thomson, GA, the Church Hall, the Catholic Education building and the Knights Council Chamber, later named by Council 6918 as the Louis C. Graziano Knights Hall andWHEREAS: Louis C. Graziano was co-founder of the Father Larry Endrizzi Council 6918, in 1977 and served as Grand Knight for several years, treasurer for over twenty years and was a member of the Patrick Walsh, 174, Augusta GA., Fouth Degree Assembly for decades andWHEREAS: Louis C. Graziano has lived in his faith raising five children and additional foster children and is recognized by his community as a man of faith, honor, and integrity and recently served as the Grand Marshal of the annual Christmas Parade, therefore let it beRESOLVED: By Council 6918 of the Knights of Columbus that we express our deepest appreciation for Mr. Grazianos past achievements and support to further his efforts for the Knights of Columbus 6918, Community, Family, and Catholic Church.This resolution was recommended by unanimous vote of all members attending the monthly meeting of Council 6918 on March 20, 2022.Respectfully Submitted, Tom L.
