b'AUGUSTINE MYSLINSKIABBOT, MONASTERYof theHOLY SPIRITMay 13, 2021Dear Brother Knights,It is our sincere hope that all of you have remained safe and well throughout this past year. It continues to be a unique moment in our history as we continue to sort through this pandemic. Yet, it seems we may be seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. Enough light that the Knights can convene in an in-person convention this year. Although we are grateful for the technology available during this pandemic, there is nothing like the normal and usual human exchange and closeness, which we all need.Hopefully, during this pandemic, we all have grown in our faith. The pandemic has likely presented many challenges for us all. Yet, God works in many ways to draw us closer to Him and each other. As Knights, I know that you have risen to the occasion to be in sol-idarity with many who have struggled during these daysoften assisting in material ways. This pandemic was not an occasion for you to recoil but instead continue to move forward in creative ways. Here at the monastery, we have been on a lockdown since last March. We have grown together in unity as monks while praying for an end to this pandemic. This lockdown has been a natural transition for us. Yet, that has not closed us off from the struggles of those in our country, Church, and world. We are grateful to all of you, our brothers - Knights, for your generous assistance to us. Even during this pandemic, some of your parishes opened up to support us through the Christmas sales of our bakery products; you continue to help us through Pennies from Heaven. We look forward to being together this year in an atmosphere of hope for our future. In an atmosphere of enthusiastic planning for the coming year. In an atmosphere of fellowship in our faith. Sincerely In Christ,Rt. Rev. Augustine Myslinski, OCSOAbbot, Monastery of the Holy Spirit19'
