b'Worthy Grand Knight and Brothers all:My name is Michael Basak and I will running for State Warden at this years convention in Jekyll Island and would like to have your support. I joined the Order in August 2006 and have faithfully served the Order in, Georgia since then. I exemplify, our Orders principles of Charity, Unity, Fraternity, and Patriotism, and in doing so sets a high and honorable standard for all to emulate.I have been Blessed by 31 years of marriage to my lovely wife Sylvia and have two daugh-ters, Amanda & Kayla. I served our Church and my parish as an Alter server, Usher, Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion. I served St. Stephen The Martyr Council 14122 as Recorder, Deputy Grand Knight, Grand Knight, and Trustees for two years at each position.While Grand Knight for two years, I earned the honors of Star Council Award. I was named Knight of the Year for 2007-2008, Family or the Year for 2008-2009, from Council 14122. I served on the Admissions Degree team and participated actively in many council events.I am also a Member of St Elizabeth Ann Seton Assembly 2475, served as Faithful Scribe, Faithful Pilot, Faithful Captain, Faithful Navigator, I proudly served in Honor Guard and Color Corps activities as well. I have served as District Deputy for 5 years, serving and encouraging 5 councils which have earned the Star Council award multiple Times. I have personally earned the Star Award for 2018-2019.I served the Georgia State Council as the Arch Diocese of Atlanta Ad Coordinator with dedica-tion and commitment to the Knightlife conven-tion book the last 2 years.I seek to continued and expand my service to the order and to the Georgia State Council as the next State Warden.
